Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin : The Holy Devil

Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (January 10, 1869 – December 29, 1916) a saintly holy man, visionary, healer, and prophet, know as the "mad monk." born into a peasant family in the small village of Pokrovskoye,Russian.
In his youth,Rasputin reportedly showed indications of supernatural powers, even that he spent most of his teenage years as a loner and a rebel,The Times Russian correspondent called him “handsome with an extraordinary personality”. A heavy drinker and sex addict who engaged in orgies, he boasted to a magazine of his influence over women.
He then wandered throughout Russia gaining a reputation as a seducer of women, even though he was married with three children. He’s quoted as saying, “Sin is also from God. The more you sin, the stronger is your repentance, the closer to God you become.”Only after sinning could he repent and come closer to God. This mix of religious piety and sexual hedonism, 'driving out sin with sin', was a notion that never left Rasputin. During his participation in “sacred orgies” instead of being exhausted, he seemed to save more energy, and this is the reason that explains his sexual strength. Many people believe, that through his sins,he obtained his holiness, and that he proceeded in initiations that transformed his miraculous “ego”.
and when this is not enough,one story recounts how Rasputin’s father had a horse stolen, and Rasputin was able to identify the culprit through "divine knowledge"...
At that time, the son of the Tsar Nicholas II of Russia had Hemophilia. The doctors where unable to cure him, that is why one of the Tsar’s contacts introduced Rasputin to them. The most sources claim that he cured Alexei like a miracle. The boy was so dependent on him that Rasputin could go to the Tsar’s palace whenever he wanted. He became later one of the most powerful person in Russia and he could promote even minsters and other high political figures.he became dangerous for many politicians in Russia, and therefore prince Felix Yusupov, who was related to Romanov’s family, planned to assassinate him.According to the story of the murderers, killing him was an extra ordinary task. They poisoned him, stabbed him , which didn’t affect him, then they shot him several times, but no result at all.So the murder of Rasputin has become something of a legend,
In the end, Grand Duke Dmitri Pavlovich, Nicholas’s first cousin, lured Rasputin to Youssupov Palace on the night of December 29, 1916.shot him at close range, leaving him for dead. A short time later, however, Rasputin revived and attempted to escape from the palace grounds, whereupon his assailants shot him again and beat him viciously.
Finally, they bound Rasputin, still miraculously alive, they and tossed him into a freezing river. His body was founded several days later and the two main conspirators, Youssupov and Pavlovich were exiled.
The body was discovered,with a lung full of water,which mean that drawing in a freezing water were the cause Rasputin's death.

and after all that,a letter found with the dead body,written by him before the assassination:

” If I am killed by common assassins, you, the Tsar of Russia, will have nothing to fear for your children. .. If it was your relations who have wrought my death, then none of your children will remain alive for more than two years…” - G. Rasputin
